Cambio para Cambio (Change for Change) is a community-led campaign that showcases the philanthropic power of Latine students, local businesses, and professional organizations. In celebration of Latine/Hispanic Heritage Month, every dollar donated from September 15 through October 15 is matched 100% by generous HDF donors, doubling the giving power and impact of your gift. Since the inception of Cambio para Cambio, our community's support has been tremendous. Starting with a $6,000 inaugural campaign to last year's raising a total of $500,000, Cambio para Cambio now funds 2/3rds of the scholarships awarded by HDF.
Last year was Paseo Academy High School’s first year participating in Cambio para Cambio where students and generous donors yielded over $11,000.00 for Paseo Hispanic Development Fund seniors. Latine students comprise over 40% of the student body and many do not have access to federal loans or aid. The Hispanic Development Fund’s Cambio para Cambio has supported the leadership and organizing efforts of students of all ages to the benefit of the future of our senior students and their bright futures!
