BE F1RST is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to offering one-on-one support, mentoring and grants to first-generation students as they navigate higher education.

This year we are joining our friends at the Hispanic Development and supporting the Cambio para Cambio (Change for Change) fundraising campaign.

Since the inception of Cambio para Cambio, our community's support has been tremendous. Starting with a $6,000 inaugural campaign to last year's raising a total of $500,000, Cambio para Cambio now funds 2/3rds of the scholarships awarded by HDF.

This is a community-led campaign that showcases the philanthropic power of Latino students, local businesses, and professional organizations! In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, every dollar donated from September 15 through October 15 is matched 100% by generous HDF donors, doubling the giving power and impact of your gift.
